Gulfstream Pipeline fishing map with side-scan imagery.
Now includes mitigation sites and valve boxes! A total of 1,695 waypoints.
“This is my go-to dive site if I am wanting to not only maximize the number of dives I can do in a day with the least amount of fuel burned, but also access just about every offshore reef fish species that the Gulf has to offer.” Alex Fogg, Marine Resource Coordinator and Lionfish slayer extraordinaire.
You asked and we scanned, from seven miles out of Tampa to south of Pensacola.
You’ll see the rock piles – sometimes on top, sometimes to the sides – used to stabilize the pipeline, note where the pipeline goes underground, spot schools of bait, and laugh at our curving path when we avoided boats and fought with the autopilot.
We have also included coordinates for the valve boxes, the boulder fields, and artificial reef mitigation sites. Please note that imagery for the mitigation sites is not included.
This chart includes several waypoints in the Madison Swanson protected area. Please follow all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Depths on this preview chart may be displayed in fathoms (6 feet), meters, or feet depending on your zoom level.
Note for Garmin customers: if you order Pipeline with Imagery, the Imagery will be available as a Google Earth download after checkout. Garmin units cannot run the sidescan imagery so the microSD card that will be mailed to you will only have the waypoints.
